TV Design - more important than ever.
The TV is the focal point of any living room and over the years has changed from a simple utility item to part of the interior design. With screen sizes of 40 inches and above, the TV occupies a large space in the living room, in spite of its flat construction. Therefore the appearance of the flat-screen TV plays a key role in the living room. Our VL748 and WL768 series models, which were designed in cooperation with JACOB JENSEN DESIGN, add to the atmosphere in living areas and set a design accent without, however, compromising in terms of dimensions or function.

Design - more than just appearance.
In a good design, visual elements and functionality complement each other to form a high-quality overall appearance. As a result of its clear lines combined with high-quality materials such as glass and metal, a modern elegance shines out from the TVs in our VL748 and WL768 design series. But the appearance is not an end in itself. After all, the TV should fit perfectly into a modern living atmosphere without dominating it. In addition, the functionality should not be adversely affected in favour of the appearance, but rather should even improve it if possible.

Merging Technology and Design.
The results of this cooperation with the JACOB JENSEN DESIGN studio are the completely revised VL748 and WL768 series devices. The final designs were preceded by more than six months of work on 20 drafts. This process created two TV series that stand out as a result of their subtle visual design. Instead of using buttons on the side of the device, the VL748 and WL768 Series models are controlled via a touch panel that is integrated into the frame-free surface. When designing the rear, particular focus was placed on easily-reachable connections and a wall mounting that is as compact as possible.

LED PICTURE QUALITY
In LED televisions, LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are used for backlighting purposes. When LEDs are used in televisions, they vastly improve picture quality and lower power consumption.

RESOLUTION+
"Resolution+" technology improves the picture quality produced by conventional image signals by means of a three-stage process that employs edge smoothing and sharpness enhancement techniques. This upgrades the quality of SD
pictures to one that is comparable with HD.

Toshiba Multituner
This device offers an integrated multituner with DVB-C, DVB-T, DVB-S/S2 and an analogue reception.
